  How to compete?

There are four ways to compete,

  • 1. with a slot for the Main Match
  • 2. as an IROA official or as a GROI member in the pre-match
  • 3. as an R.D. in the pre-match
  • 4. as a sponsor in the pre-match (2 slots maximum)

All entries (1.-4) will be scored together in the match results. The Pre-Match is the same match as the Main Match. The 24 stages are just being shot in three days (from August 16th) instead of in four days.

  • 1. With a slot for the main match

We have increased the number of slots in the main match from 400 to 500. 50 of those 500 slots are reserved for Non-European entries. 450 slots are distributed among the European IPSC regions according to numbers of their IPSC memberships currently registered and duely paid. All European regions have already been informed of their respective number of slots for the main match. For each IPSC region - be it European or Non-European - all slots will be solely distributed to individuals by the Regional Director of that region.

  • 2. As an IROA official or as a GROI member in the pre-match

All IROA members who will be nominated by IROA to work in the main match get a slot to shoot the pre-match free of charge. The same is true for all working members of the German Range Officers Institute. They will be nominated by the board of GROI.

  • 3. As an R.D. in the Pre-Match

All R.D.s get free slots for the Pre-Match.

  • 4. As a sponsor in the pre-match

Sponsors get up to three free slots for the Pre-Match depending on their sponsorship.

Entry fee for the match is DEM 400 / US$ 200. The fee is based on a DEM base and may vary with changing $/DEM exchange rate.
